Not a lot, strictly speaking, is known about the Light Elves, who come from Alfheimr and rarely leave their Realm. Outsiders are not disallowed and visitors are treated with hospitality, but prolonged stays are discouraged. Light Elves are peaceable, gentle creatures, standing with an average height of 6'4" for both genders, their hair so blond it's practically white. Aesir often joke that telling the difference between genders is next to impossible. Despite their desire for peace, Light Elves are more than capable of defending themselves. They stood beside the Aesir, Vanir and Valkyrie during Ragnarök and displayed immense courage. Since then, though, their desire for space has seemingly doubled, and they care very little for the affairs of other Realms. Many theorize that this is because of the marked return of their enemies, the Dark Elves.
